Retroblogg: John Deere event

Hello, John Deere or whoever recieves this.
I have a question that I need your help to answer.
I have been reading through your various descriptions of your machines and I’m beginning to center on a particular one, the 953J Track Feller Buncher. The reason that I wish to consult you before making a purchase and sorting out the logistic part of all this is that I need your professional opinion is this is a well suited machine for my purposes. You see, I have a large garden at home with many beautiful flowers and bushes and I have been thinking a long time about doing some ”redecoration”. The garden itself is pretty large, about 600m2 and contains some magnificent statues of various sizes and forms. Is the 953J Track Feller Buncher well equipped for this area?
I need to cut down some of the large bushes, move some of the statues and replant some of the flowers. That grippingclaw on the 953J seems pretty sturdy and looks like it could handle the weight, but i wonder if there could be a chance of any damage to the machine if I used it for this purpose? I live in Sweden but I think I can cover the logistic part of it all regarding shipping from the US and so on and so forth. Please respond as quick as possible so that I don’t have to put my other contractors on hold for too long.
With my sincere Regards
D. Andersson
Svaret kom kvickt:
Hello Mr Andersson.
Thank you for your interest in John Deere Forestry Products.
Your local John Deere Dealer is the BEST source of Products, Service and Parts. We suggest you contact them to assist you with your machine requirements. You must also remember the restrictions for importing machines. Although our machines are EU Certified, they must be ordered and imported by our regional Distribution center.
The 953J is designed primarily for large scale forestry operations. It may be more economical to hire a local Construction Contractor to safely relocate your items and replant the shrubbery you describe. A hydraulic excavator would be less damaging and be more flexible for your needs.

Jag behöver kanske inte förtydliga att det inte blev någon skogsmaskin för stackars mig.

Jag skyller på att John Deere stal mitt sinne för humor, eller att skämtet var dåligt. Take your pick. ;)
